foundation in 1983. He has a lion’s share in the administration of the organization. His tryst with Sahyadris continues for over 30 years. He has summited Mt. Shitidhar situated in Manali region. Today, his administrative skills not only help him in his personal achievements, but also Chakram, thanks to his ever lending selfless support.

He has been involved in management of more than 10 Sahyankan events and participated in 3 Himalayan expeditions. His maximum height gain was 16000 ft.

when he was introduced to Chakram Hikers in the year 2000. He has successfully led numerous treacherous treks and managed Chakram's flagship events like Summer Camp, Children’s camp and Sahyankan.

She has been trekking in Sahyadris and Himalayas for more than 10 years. She has successfully completed high-altitude himalayan treks such as Beas Kund, Pindari-Kafni Glacier, Roopkund, Kuari Pass, Khenpri Tibba, Har ki Dun, etc. She loves photography and travelling.

He is an asset to club in a way of good leadership , maintaining discipline and handling crisis management. His presence itself assures club of whole hearted support.
Madhav Phadke (Committee member)
Madhav is a life member of Chakram Hikers since 1983. |

He has lead and trekked around 200 forts and trekking destinations.
Ravi Vaidyanathan (Public Relations Officer)

Ravi has been trekking in Sahyadris and Himalayas for more than 30 years. He is passionate about photography, birding, butterflies and nature.

Saurabh Bhide (Library In-charge)
Saurabh started his journey with Chakram Hikers as a kid way back in 1995 Sahyankan. |

Since then he has been involved in various treks in Sahyadris. Career may have kept him away from Chakram Hikers for quite some time but it has certainly never dented his pleasure for trekking.

Rajan Mahajan (Co-opted member)

Rajendrakumar aka Rajan started trekking in 1991 with a high altitude trek to Pindari & Kafni Glaciers. |

In past 25 years, he has trekked in Himalayan and Sahyadri mountain ranges extensively. He has climbed around 25 pinnacles in the Sahyadri. He was part of a historical discovery of ‘Fort Lonza’ which stands on the borders of Marathwada & Khandesh in Maharashtra. He is best known for a methodical approach to mountaineering and has won awards at mountaineering quiz competitions. He is working with a multinational infrastructure company.

Mahesh is trekker who loves hardship and follows this for many years.
His good leadership skills support Chakram in organising Himalayan treks.
Being accounts personality , Chakram is benefitted with his expert’s guidance in Administrative works also.

He is passionate about trekking and hiking in Sahyadri, especially Rock Climbing! He has successfully climbed several pinnacles in Sahyadri including 1 virgin wall of 475 feet at Manikgad and 1 virgin crack at Kalavantin Durg. He has been leading climbing expeditions for more than 5 years. He successfully completed the Basic Mountaineering Course in July-2015 during which he climbed unnamed peak in Spiti Valley. He is a Life Member of Chakram Hikers, Mulund.
