Report: Manali is perhaps the most beautiful town of the Kullu valley and an ideal destination to beat the heat. Surrounded by towering snow peaks, Manali is the trailhead for numerous treks as well as a great countryside ideal for adventure sport lovers.
In May 2007, Chakram Hikers had planned a trek to Beas Kund in Manali region which is the source of Holy River Beas at approximately 11000 ft. A world away from the Indian plains, participants had the opportunity to bask in the exotic adventure sports like river crossing, rafting, canoeing and kayaking.

Everest Base Camp & Kalapathhar (18370 ft)
The trek to Everest Base Camp is without doubt one of the most endearing and famous treks in the world. It takes you into the heart of the Himalaya, with awe-inspiring views of many of the world's highest and most beautiful mountains. Chakram Hikers takes immense pride when it reminisces the glorious and historical trek to the Everest Base Camp in 1999.

Report: Because of bad Weather only Vinay Naphade reached Everest Base Camp, Mahesh followed him and reached within 1 km of Everest Base Camp. Other members reached upto Gorakhshep camp.
